Method & Purification: The serum is collected aseptically from alive healthy adult Swiss Mice whole blood, spun from the clotted red blood cells immediately and frozen thereafter.

Sterilization: The serum is treated by quadruple filtering process, aseptically filtered through 0.5 micron, 0.45 micron, 0.22 micron and 0.22 micron filter into clean, pre-sterilized containers. This product does not contain any of the following additives:  anticoagulants, water, saline, buffers, solvents of any kind, Ig G or animal sera of other species.

Virus Test: The product was tested by DHL selective culture/ ELISA method and was found to be negative for Salmonella/ Mouse pox virus.

Storage Recommendation: Store at -20 ℃ – -40 ℃. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles. Use standard sterile procedures when handling this product to maintain sterility.

Application: Normal mouse serum is frequently used for blocking or saturating generalized binding interactions for immunodetection, Immunohistochemistry, Immunoprecipitation methods. Mouse serum also can be used for coagulation studies, antibody diluent , blocking sera and reagents, ELISA, flow cytometry, labeling, control etc.
