NHP BM MNC are isolated from fresh bone marrow by diluting the bone marrow with phosphate-buffered saline and using gradient separation techniques. After centrifugation, the MNC layer is collected. MNC can be processed to isolate subpopulations.

NHP BM CD34+ cells are isolated from NHP bone marrow mononuclear cells using a direct immunomagnetic CD34+ MicroBead labeling system. Harvested purified cells are analyzed using a laser analytical flow cytometer confirming the purity is greater than 90%. FACScan will be provided. NHP-Plasma is processed through centrifugation to diminish cells and platelets.
